| Rented a battery operated scooter to tour kending, had a great time! |
Not knowing where to stay in Kending being our first visit. We were pleased to have found Hido Hostel online. We took Kending Express Bus from KaoHsiung Station, dropped along Kending Main Street after 2 hours. Hido Hostel is a 5 minutes walk situated on Dawan Road.
Hostel owner Mrs. Lin was sitting outside the Hostel while we arrived. Guessed she was expecting us as it was already 8pm when we arrived. Check in was very fast and we were told that the row of hostels along Dawan Road belongs to the family where each sibling runs different hostel.
It was a very pleasant stay and Hido Hostel is recommended as it is so close to Kending Main Street compared to accommodations nearer to the hills. Looking forward to future trip!
