We had a chance to dine in Bounty @ The Journal Hotel during our Anniversary staycation.  We were both drawn by their lovely bakery aroma during our check-in, it was disappointing when we were told they don't sell their bakery, so we decided to come in for dinner.

It was very quiet when we sat in, and wondering if we made a wrong decision.  Probably Journal Hotel was relatively new and Bounty hasn't got much publicity.  Bounty have a good list of food items on their menu and we chosen a main each, and it did not disappoint!

We were each served with bread before our mains.  Croissant like puff pastry with truffle butter, it was so nice!  I regretted not asking for seconds as it was complimentary from the house.

Oven Baked Spatchcock

Oven baked chicken was so tender! Chicken was well marinated and baked.  It was served with assorted grilled vegetables and salad.  Our Wagyu burger was done medium well, there's caramelized onion on the cheese which adds on the sweetness to the beef patty.  Foie gras melts in your mouth when you took that bite, not forgetting the generous shaving of truffle on top of it.  Cajun fries were well seasoned.  Such a delightful dinner!
