ORIGINAL NASI KANDAR @ ABC BISTRO CAFE KL

It is not hard to locate a Nasi Kandar stall in KL but hard to find a decent one that serves up good curry gravy. My husband works around Sentral area and knowing that I love Nasi Kandar,  he managed to find one that is comparable to the ones we frequent in Penang.

ABC Bistro Cafe is located beside KL Monorail Station, acessible across the bridge after Sentral Mall. They operate 24 hours and sell the usual Malaysian Indian cuisine like fried noodles or prata, and you won't miss the array of meat and vegetables on display by Original Nasi Bandar.

Good flavoured meat gravy, and I prefer my rice combination with Tumeric Cabbage and Ayam Kecap (Chicken in Spicy Soy Sauce).  Chicken will be more tender compared to deep fried chicken where the skin are dried out.  I like how they garnished the rice with fried shallot, making it extra tasty.

I have had a few lunches here after arriving at Sentral station via KLIA train from airport and late night supper when I stayed over at Aloft Hotel.  Helps to satisfy my craving, remember to "Banjar" flood your meal with mixed gravies!
